Zagreb Burger Festival

Zagreb burger festival takes place every August in Zagreb. It attracts cooks and food lovers all around the world. This wonderful and tasty festival lasts for five days.

Cooks comes earlier to explore the city and prepare for the festival. Local people arrange, plan and decorate the square where the festival takes place. They put a lot of lights and lanterns all over the square and they build small houses where cooks will prepare and present their burgers. Lots of locals are included in the celebration.

During the festival there are different music bands performing in the middle of the square, surrounded with lots of houses and cooks in them. People walk around watching the cooks doing their burgers. The saddest part is that you can’t try all the burgers because you are full after one or two.

There are some awesome burgers. My favourite one was a coloured burger, but the naturally coloured burger. It is an unforgettable festival for everyone who loves food.
